Our story
A little dahlia farm that started as a place to breathe
Hi, I’m Annette. I’ve worked in nursing since I was 19 years old. Caring for others is a deeply meaningful part of my life, but it has also come with a lot of stress. Gardening is my respite.
Planting, tending and watching these flowers bloom is healing for me. Hello Dahlia is how I share that, and I hope our dahlias bring a little of the same joy into your life.

Our first big growing season
Started out as a backyard garden and then became a passion.
Fair season 2025
Best Novice at Cuyahoga County Fair
Vassio Meggos won Best Novice, with first-place ribbons for Lois Lane and Clearview Peachy.
Spring 2026
Our first tuber sale and garden expansion
Every tuber found a new garden. Thank you! Over 200 Dahlias planted!
Summer 2026

Had an amazing first year at Hudson Farmers Market.

Major tuber sale (over 500 tubers). Expanding my farmers market presence.
How we grow
We’re small on purpose. Every plant gets looked at, often.
- Cutting tools are cleaned between every plant.
- Any plant that looks off is pulled and thrown away, never composted.
- Each tuber is inspected before storage and again before it ships.
- We’d never knowingly sell a tuber from a sick plant.
